Port of Dieppe

Land Transport and Travel To and From Port Dieppe
(Dieppe, Normandy, France)

Travel by Bus and Shuttles

Buses are located next to the port and run to major regional cities regularly throughout the week.

There is a local service into the town as well as services meeting the ferries to transport people to Rouen and Paris, sometimes with a connection.

Car Hire and Road Travel

Dieppe can be accessed from Calais and Le Touquet via the A28 coastal road or from Rouen on the N27. This is the main trunk road out of this part of Normandy and it meets the A13 which provides convenient access to the major highways of Western France, particularly to Paris. From Rouen there is also a main highway south to Le Mans and beyond.

Local car hire firms provide rentals for passengers arriving at Dieppe; however, booking car hire online prior to travelling is advised as cheaper rates are guaranteed.

Trains and Rail Travel

A railway station located on Boulevard Clemenceau under half a mile from the port provides nationwide connections with services running throughout the day. These services include journeys to Paris and Rouen.

Car Parking

There is no car parking facility at the ferry terminal but drivers may park for free along the seaport or in paid metered parking on the streets.

Travel by Taxis

Taxis provide services from outside of the ferry terminal to Rouen, Calais and other regional destinations. Usually taxis are waiting for the ferry.
