Transmanche Ferries is currently the only ferry company providing services from the port of Dieppe. The service previously offered by Hoverspeed is now discontinued.

Dieppe to Newhaven is the only route operated by Transmanche Ferries, which is a small French company and the only company to provide this service.


There are just two ships in the fleet, the Dieppe and the Sardinia Vera. Both ships feature cabins, shops and self-service restaurants.

Both ships are surprisingly well outfitted with comfortable individual cabins, as well as a saloon showing movies and outdoor deck. A well stocked duty free shop and clean, comfortable, canteen styled restaurant are both well worth the visit.
There are three sailings a day in the summer months, with a journey time of approximately three hours. During the winter the midday sailing is dropped, with only the morning and evening departures from both Dieppe and Newhaven.
